Additional Information

For those interested in learning the physics and mathematics behind the concept of a plasma dominated universe I highly recommend reading Anthony Peratt’s Physics of the Plasma Universe.  Recently released in a second edition, this extremely detailed book covers such topics as “the large-scale structure and the filamentary universe; the formation of magnetic fields and galaxies, active galactic nuclei and quasars, the origin and abundance of light elements, star formation and the evolution of solar systems, and cosmic rays.”  In my opinion it is the “go-to” reference for researchers pursuing studies and experiments in the areas of plasma physics, cosmic plasmas and plasma cosmology.  It requires an understanding of higher mathematics to be fully appreciated but is still well worth a read, even by casual students.

For more information about the role of plasma and electricity in our universe I encourage a visit to the following sites.  I have listed these sites in no particular order and do not endorse nor recommend any one particular site over another.  They each contain valuable information and so I do recommend a visit to each one.

The Plasma Universe (http://www.plasma-universe.com/)

“This is a Wiki about the Plasma Universe, a model of the universe in which electromagnetic forces dominate since 99.999% of the universe is plasma (charged particles). Although the equal numbers of charged particles tend to cancel, the tendency results in ‘quasi-neutrality’, and charge separation may occur.”

The Thunderbolts Project  (http://www.thunderbolts.info/)

“The Thunderbolts Project is an interdisciplinary collaboration of accredited scientists, independent researchers and interested individuals established in 2004. Its prime mission is to explore the Electric Universe paradigm. Historical and current discoveries in the sciences have placed a spotlight on the electromagnetic force in nature, from quantum worlds and biological systems to planetary, stellar, and galactic domains.”

Plasma Cosmology .net  (http://www.plasmacosmology.net/)

“The purpose of this web site is to provide an introduction to the emerging Plasma Universe paradigm, and to explore some of the many far reaching implications.”

The Electric Cosmos (http://electric-cosmos.org/)

“A new electric plasma-based paradigm that does not find new discoveries to be ‘enigmatic and puzzling’, but rather to be predictable and consistent with an electrical point of view, is slowly but surely replacing the old paradigm wherein all electrical mechanisms are ignored.  This web site is dedicated to explaining the basis of this ongoing scientific shift.”

The Electric Universe  (http://www.holoscience.com/)

“This website is for the curious, those who are eager to discover some reasonable answers about life, the universe and everything (as far as it is possible today) free of old beliefs that have shackled progress for centuries. It requires a beginner’s mind and a broad forensic approach to knowledge that is not taught in any university. The payoff is the spark that lights up lives.”

The Big Bang Never Happened (http://bigbangneverhappened.org/)

“This website provides an update on the evidence and the debate over the Big Bang, including the latest technical review  and a reply to a widely- circulated criticism  as well as a technical reading list, a report on a recent workshop  and links to other relevant sites, including one that described my own work on fusion power, which is closely linked to my work in cosmology.”

Electric Universe Theory Forum – Everything Is Electric? (http://www.everythingselectric.com/)

“Regular or casual visitor? Say hello here in this sort of ‘comment forum’.  Also, discussion of news or your favourite crazy or amazing ideas.”

New to EU (http://www.newtoeu.com/)

“I was so impressed by what I found described as the Electric Model of the Universe (EMU) when I first came across it that I decided to write a book about it. I made this decision not for personal gain, but instead so that others like me could have the chance to understand the important theories and proposals contained in that model.“

Facebook Groups – There are several groups, both public and closed, that focus on the role of plasma and electricity in our universe.
